Thinking ahead of more thinking
Here's our next areas to work on:
- Council opinion content
- Combat (large list of work)
- Early game + turn progression for enemy armies
- Event content
- Additional types of events
- Construction
- Post-battle
- "start drama" vs "stir up existing drama"
- We need both, but existing drama from organic gameplay is more interesting
- Interface rework
Some of these areas are bigger than others, but this is the main list.
There's also lots of future-state things, including but not nearly limited to:
- Way more unit types
- Rank (dynamic difficulty)
- Heirs/family systems/inheritance
- Character upgrade content
- ...
But the first list is the real priorities to get in. We'll get to content "soon".. we can't really have a proper demo until we have this mythical "content". And some is listed already; events and council opinions. But that's really just to figure out what else we need to implement. We're at the tail end of it, seriously (really!), but we're still in the first big implementation phase of this project.
